Supporting Picture Tomorrow

While we gladly accept old-fashioned monetary donations, we have another program that has proven popular with photographers that choose to support our work. Our Camera Donation Program allows photographers to donate cameras to Picture Tomorrow, and receive a tax-deduction for the fair market value of the equipment donated.

What do we do with the equipment? One of three options:

  1. Some we use in our ongoing projects—a pair of Canon EOS cameras donated by someone moving into digital equipment is now at work documenting the Rocky Mountain Front in Montana where there is growing conflict between natural gas development and the last grizzly bears on the Great Plains.
  2. Some cameras we pass on to other organizations that need to document their work. We have a strong need for digital point and shoots in this category. Are you upgrading to a higher megapixel camera? We can put your older camera to work helping environmental groups and, for upcoming projects, human rights and agricultural organizations.
  3. Cameras that we cannot use or pass on, we sell and put the money to work towards our goals.

Do you have a camera to donate? Please contact Mark Wilson for shipping information.
