This image illustrates the beauty of coming home to eat on a cold winter's day. Eating food from your own root cellar, grown by your own hands, or the hands of farmers you know and esteem feeds the body as well as the soul. Many thanks to my friend Andrea who made the willow basket holding the veggies. And thanks to Jim, Josh, Kim, PEAS students, Steve and Lucy for growing all the food pictured here- except the red currants, which I picked myself in my backyard. The prints are available matted for $150.00. This print is one of an upcoming series of prints that I am creating to celebrate and honor the food of Montana.
